Quickly reconfigure your computer’s keyboard

This program allows you to configure according to your own preferences for the distribution of keys on your PC Windows, can assign functions of your choice or those you need to the keys allowing you to work more comfortably. We simply select the reconfigured key and assign the functionality we want it to have. Then we only have to apply the changes.

The good thing about the app is that if we make a mistake, we can easily bring the keyboard mapping back to its original state. Remap Keys KeyTweak on Windows with Built-in Settings:

  1. Open the Windows Settings app (Windows key + I).
  2. Navigate to “Ease of Access” and then “Keyboard.”
  3. Under “Change how keyboard shortcuts work,” click on “Set up Sticky Keys.”
  4. Within Sticky Keys settings, you’ll find an option titled “Turn on Filter Keys.” While enabling Filter Keys is not strictly for remapping, it disables certain keyboard shortcuts that might interfere with remapping using the following method.
  5. Go back to the “Keyboard” settings page and click on “Use the On-Screen Keyboard.” (This step doesn’t enable the on-screen keyboard permanently, but activates a mode that allows remapping.)
  6. With the on-screen keyboard displayed, press and hold the key you want to remap on the physical keyboard. A box will appear above the corresponding key on the on-screen keyboard.
  7. Press the new key you want to assign to the original key’s function.
  8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 for any other keys you want to remap.
  9. Close the on-screen keyboard window. The remapped keys should now be functional.
